End-time Bible prophecy is the most debated topic among Christians in all of scripture. Healthy debate is good, but a dangerous, unbiblical precedent is being set. End-time Bible prophecy is being attacked from within the church by supposed shepherds. Let’s look at the deception that Jesus and the apostles warned us would come.

Concerning The Times: Howard Green (00:01.902)
The whole church is apostate. They'll start using words like Illuminati and end times and you know, the son of man is Jesus, and Satan is setting up his kingdom and the one world order is coming into existence and everybody is being led astray and there's global conspiracy. Hello friends. Welcome to Concerned at Times. I'm Howard Green. So glad you're with us today for this podcast. In this video, we have a great

topic. It's going to be a very controversial one, I think, but we're not going to shy away from that. We're going to talk about some of the harder things in scripture, and we're going to tackle them right now. So the subject is contradicting Jesus on end-time Bible prophecy. Who would do that? Right? Who would contradict Jesus regarding end-time Bible prophecy? Well, a lot of people, actually, you'd be surprised. See, you and I both know it that Bible prophecy and specifically end-time Bible prophecy

can be one of the hottest and most hotly contested and debated subjects inside the church, especially, but in and outside the church, people in the world have their opinion on the end times as well, but particularly Christians, we tend to agree most of the time, and then sometimes we agree to disagree on these things.

They are subjects in the Bible, especially in end-time prophecy that we would say, Neel took, subjects like the great tribulation, the rapture, the day of the Lord, things like that. And we would say, well, we all have opinions about that, and opinions are fine. But when it comes down to sound biblical doctrine, especially as mythology, we have to see what the Bible says about these things. Our opinions are okay. But frankly, in the scope of,

What the Bible says, they really don't matter that much. At the end of the day, it's God's opinion. It's what the Lord Jesus and the prophets and the apostles said about end-time Bible prophecy that they should really take to heart and teach and disseminate. Amen. But here's the thing. Many of us can agree and even agree to disagree about certain things like rapture timing. What exactly is the great tribulation, the tribulation?

Concerning The Times: Howard Green (02:18.998)
Is that seven years, three and a half years exactly? What does that mean? The parousia, the second coming of Jesus. What exactly does that take place? All those things people will kick around and talk about, and that kind of dialogue can be very healthy. So long as it's grounded and rooted in scripture. But here's the problem. There are a lot of people, a lot of people that actually, not just, not just lay people, the people inside the church, I'm talking about people that are leadership.

In the church, people who are pastors, teachers, evangelists, quote unquote shepherds. It's a growing number of people who will actually take end-time Bible prophecy and friends. They'll trash it. They'll obliterate. They won't do it that way to your face. They'll sprinkle some spiritual sounding platitudes in with Jesus returning with, with, being the hands and feet of Jesus, which goes out and takes care of the least of these. This is ours.

This is our job now, and we shouldn't get focused on black people. See, what they do is they take just a little bit of truth and mix it with error. Well,

rat poison rat poison The active ingredient is very minuscule matter of fact rat poison this 99.95 % inactive ingredients With just leaving a small smidgen 0.005 of active ingredient to kill the rodent All good product you could eat that uh That uh peanut butter bar except that

small percentage that's poison, it's right poison, that'll kill you. It's the same way with doctrine. People mix in religious sounding platitudes, spiritual sounding words, then they put their opinion in there and don't base it on the word of God when it comes, especially a Bible prophecy, anti-Bible prophecy, and they shred it. And it's leading people astray. It's leading people away from the Lord.

Concerning The Times: Howard Green (04:23.214)
So rat poison, just a small percentage of churid. What did the Bible say? What does the Bible say? A little leaven in leaven the whole lump. Amen. It's the scoffers that we're gonna talk about today. Scoffers that we're gonna talk about. But here's what Jude says. But friends, you must remember the predictions of the apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ when they told you that in the last times scoffers will follow their own ungodly passions.

What are they scoffing about? They're scoffing about the gospel. They're scoffing about the end times. Well, do have a scripture and verse to back that up? Yes, I do. Peter 3, second Peter 3 says this.

Knowing this first of all that scoffers will come in the last days of scoffing, following their own sinful desires, they will say, where is the promise of his coming? So friends, please understand. I don't have a problem when people disagree over rapture timing. I may have a different opinion to use a matter of fact.

But what's happening here, you have men, people in the Bible that are, and I'll use the rapture primarily as the example, but they'll basically, they won't talk about the timing of the rapture. They'll say it's just false. It's a myth. It's a lie. It's untrue.

and they'll go a step.

Concerning The Times: Howard Green (05:55.278)
Further in that direction, and basically take Bible prophecy, end time Bible prophecy, and just trash it. It's not relevant for today. It has nothing to do with the mission and building up the kingdom. And we'll talk all about that in just a minute. But what I want to do first is play you a clip and to kind of give you the mindset of many of these preachers, even pop culture preachers that are coming along, the other following, and they're trashing Bible prophecy. I'm going to go ahead and play it and I'll see you on the other side.

Some will believe, however, conversely, that virtually everyone is a heretic. These people are equally terrifying. They have unholy and unhelpful apologetics and discernment ministries. There are great apologetics ministries and there are great discernment ministries. I like the Bible Answer Man, Hank Anagraph, but on there I like Ravi Zacharias. There are some people who are really good and they engage with the cults and philosophy and religions.

and they thread the needle on what the Bible teaches. But there are others who are completely unhelpful because they see a heretic where there isn't one.

They're suspicious of nearly everyone. They give no one the benefit of the doubt. They're always looking for something wrong, something to criticize, some way to shoot. They're snipers. They lay in the grass and you don't even see it coming. Those people who think that virtually everyone is a heretic, they are generally ruled by God. These people are scared to death. The whole church is apostate. They'll start using words like Illuminati and end times and you know,

The son of man is Jesus and Satan is setting up his kingdom and the one world order is coming to existence and everybody is being led astray and there's global conspiracy. They're terrifying. They're scary. If you believe them, you're going to sleep with one eye open. These people are scary.

Concerning The Times: Howard Green (07:58.808)
They often have a rigid eschatology. The end times, we're living in the end times. These are the last days. It's growing dark. The antichrist is rising up. Just scared to death. Scared to death, terrified. So remember friends, what makes spiritual deception so deceptive? It's mingled with just enough truth, just enough spiritual platitude, sentiment.

get you to say, had this guy's legit. This lady's legit. They know what they're talking about. They know the word of God. They also to say, okay.

I just, it's deceptive. It's very deceptive. Here's an example of this. And as New York Times bestseller Rick Warren wrote, and I'm gonna quote, this is from the purpose driven life. If you want Jesus to come back sooner, focus on fulfilling your mission, not on figuring out prophecy. What?

He says, it's easy to get distracted and sidetracked from your mission because Satan would rather have you do anything, anything, excuse me, besides sharing your faith. See what Rick Warren did there? Very, very deceptive. He said, don't figure out prophecy. Don't, don't, don't figure out prophecy because it's a distraction and it's a sidetrack. Well friends, Bible prophecy, anti-bible prophecy.

is not a distraction. The Bible says that some scripture is God-believing, right? No, The Bible says that all scripture is God-believing and profitable. So I'm sorry, Rick, you're wrong. You can't cut and paste. This is not cut and paste theology. You have to the totality of scripture from Genesis 1 to Revelation 22. Let's continue. He says, Satan would rather have you do anything besides sharing your faith with friends.

Concerning The Times: Howard Green (09:59.992)
When you understand, have a good concept, a good biblical concept of end time prophecy, you understand it's not a distraction. Bible prophecy spurs us on to be holy, to be righteous, to understand that this is all coming to an end. There is a crescendo of human history. It's coming to an end. We've got this much time to warn people. That is the mission. The great commission to go pull people out of the fire, snatch them out as Jude says.

Good sound end time Bible prophecy teaching will give the Christian a spiritual and a biblical sense of urgency to go out there and finish the mission. Amen. But that's not what Rick is saying. Rick Warren labeled Bible prophecy distractions. I'm going to respond. And here it is. There's a huge distinction between sensationalism and sound doctor and I'll explain. Yes, true. There are some quote unquote end time Bible prophecy teachers who are extremely sensational.

And I know why I covered this on my previous video and podcast, uh, about a year or two ago, talking about, um, uh, what did I call, I'm trying to think about what I called that now that was, uh, basically profiteering, uh, from end time Bible prophecy. And I think the title of the video is end time prophecy for whipping or ego. Anyway, let's continue.

Yes, I would agree on the surface that there are some people involved in end time Bible prophecy teaching that call themselves Bible prophecy experts that are very sensational. You think about the Y2K scare. All people getting hept up and freaked out about that and then people publishing and writing books and make money off that and billing churches talking about the great Y2K and how it ties in with the revelation. Okay. We had

What else we have? I can go back further and talk about 88 reasons why Jesus is going to come back in 1988. that book? For some of us who've been around? And then that didn't pan out. So of course he goes on to write 89 reasons why Jesus will come back in 1989. Obviously that didn't happen. So you think about the blood moon hype of 2015 and so many other things, illuminati hype, drawing attention to yourself and your ministry instead of to Jesus.

Concerning The Times: Howard Green (12:18.008)
Friends that is sensationalism when people go out there and date set and make ridiculous claims and give false prophecies and and write sensational books I didn't say write books but write sensational books not based on scripture but taking scripture and twisting it to make the Bible prophecy narrative the sort of Collaborate what you're saying. It's just it's wrong We know that we know we can see those features coming them all the way The problem is they do distort a lot of truth and drag a lot a lot of people along with them on the left

But sound doctrine, sound Bible prophecy teaching, there are many, many good Bible teachers who teach sound biblical end time teaching. These men teach Bible prophecy, end time prophecy in context. They let the whole way to the Bible back up that verse and vice versa. And it's not one verse taken out of context to build my case. It's the whole totality of scripture. mean,

It's like this Daniel seven says something and Matthew 24 backs it up and Revelation two says amen and you see the point that I'm making. We don't cherry pit. We don't make end time prophecy to fit our narrative or our scenario so we can go sell books or make videos. Bible prophecy end time prophecy stands on its own backed up by 66 books of the Bible by 40 authors inspired by the Holy Spirit. So we have when Rick Warren.

Mr. Purpose Driven calls Bible prophecy a distraction. No, sensationalism is a distraction, but end time Bible prophecy, it's a distraction. You have to throw out 15, 20 % of the scripture to get to that. I don't know how you can do that. This is not cutting face theology. Let's continue.

What I'm addressing here is completely different. Rick Warren didn't make any distinction in the purpose-driven life that prophecy guides us on our mission. What he said, he basically trashes it as a distraction. They weren't trying to figure out prophecy. And just so you understand exactly what I'm talking about, I'm gonna play you a clip and show you just how deceptive Rick Warren in the purpose-driven life is. Did you notice how-

Concerning The Times: Howard Green (14:32.162)
quickly Jesus switched the topic of the conversation. The disciples come asking a prophecy question about end times. When are you gonna restore the kingdom? Okay, when's it all gonna take place? When's second coming happen? But Jesus switches and wants to talk not about prophecy, but about evangelism and about missions. He changes the subject. They ask a question, when are you gonna do this? He says, no, it's none of your business. But he said, you'll be my witnesses.

When they ask a question about the timing of prophecy, Jesus essentially says, you guys shouldn't be worried about this. It's none of your business. Instead, you should be focusing on world mission. Okay, friends, I'm back. Do you understand what he did there? It's like a sleight of hand. It's like a card trick. It's a parlor trick. It's smoke and mirrors. Do you understand what Rick Warren just did? I'll break it down for you. What he did, he took

what he read from Acts chapter one, verse six, and I'll read that to you in context here. And it says this, so when they had come together, that's Jesus and the disciples, right before Jesus, sent into heaven, to the right hand of the father. So when they had come together, they asked him, the disciples asked Jesus, Lord, will you at this time restore the kingdom to Israel? And Jesus said to them, it is not for you to know the times or seasons that are fixed.

by the authority of the Father. I'm gonna pause it right there. Because yes, after the fact, just before Jesus said it to heaven, disciples did ask him, Lord, is it now that you're gonna restore the kingdom to Israel? Is it now that that's gonna happen? They didn't ask specifically about the end time. They asked if Jesus would basically bring the kingdom of heaven to earth now. You're gonna restore, I'll read a key in context. Are you gonna restore the kingdom of Israel?

That was a small snippet of what Jesus meant in his fatality. He said, it's not for you to know that put them on their mission to go out all nations. Right. But here's the thing. Rick Warren did not quote that in context because we're going to read the whole totality of what Jesus was trying to say or what Jesus did say. go back to Matthew 24, right? You go to Mark 13, you go to Luke 21 and you have the Olivet discourse.

Concerning The Times: Howard Green (16:56.236)
when the disciples came to Jesus privately and I'm paraphrasing and said, Lord or master or Jesus, tell us when these things will be talking about the destruction of the temple and some other things and when will be the close of the age. Now Jesus, contrary to what Rick Warren said, didn't say don't think about that. Don't try to figure out prophecy. Basically just get on mission. Jesus

went on a long, long, all that discourse, a long talk and said, take heed that no man deceive you. When these times come, it'll be like this. And here's what's going to happen. And he goes to mention birth pains and signs of the times. You see friends, Rick Warren took one verse out of context and trashed Bible prophecy. It called it a distraction. The friends Bible prophecy, end time prophecy,

Not a distraction and I'll show you many many other places obviously what's not but you know that You know that so It gets worse because and here's the thing I'm gonna highlight Just if we talked about mark fiscal a few minutes ago People like them people like Rick Warren people that are coming up. I'm gonna talk about in just a minute like Zach hunt guys These guys don't live in a vacuum

There are many people like them. take Bible prophecy, like some sort of, child that you don't want and put it way back on the periphery and say, that's a periphery issue. I want to talk about that. It's going from the mission and it sounds so spiritual. We just want to love one people. And we just want to, we just want to, you know, fill Jesus mission. Why do you do? And we do want to take care of the least of these. We do want to go out and fill the great commission and everything that Jesus told us to do between now and the time.

that he returns. Here's the thing. It sounds very spiritual to say, don't worry about that. Let's take care of what Jesus said. But friends, the Bible is replete with warning about the end times. Jesus said it continuously. Daniel says it continuously. Zechariah says it, you know, first and second Thessalonians, the book of Revelation, second Peter, I can just go on and on and on. Ezekiel.

Concerning The Times: Howard Green (19:21.676)
The Bible is with complete prophetic warnings about the end times and how we should live.

So it's a subtle and sometimes not so subtle undermining what the Bible says. It's contradicting Jesus and then find Bible graphs. Let's continue. Well, the purpose driven life or as many people call it, I call it the purpose driven lie, calls Bible prophecy and distraction. There's a book by a gentleman named Zach Hunt. He is the author of a book and it's called Unrapture. And the subtitle is how end time theology

gets it wrong. Do hear that? The book is called Unraptured and the subtitle is how Bible prophecy excuse me on end time prophecy gets it wrong or in time theology gets it wrong. I'll describe it as part memoir and part diatribe against end time Bible prophecy.

And it's also a diatribe against remnant Christians who believe everything the Bible says about end time body parts.

So again, why the purpose-driven lie calls Bible prophecy distraction unraptured goes a step further by calling the rapture an invention. I'm not talking about Christians agreeing disagree on rapture calming and things like that. Hunt says that the, it's in a, that the rapture is an invention. That's not even in a Bible.

Concerning The Times: Howard Green (20:51.438)
I'm going to and play the clip for you so you can hear exactly what he says and we'll see you on the other side. like me, conservative American evangelicalism, that you've probably had many of those same moments of panic yourself. And if you're anything like me, you probably still have those moments of panic from time to time, even as an adult. But here's the thing, the rapture, it's never, ever going to happen. How do I know?

Because the Bible says so. Or to be more accurate, the Bible doesn't say so. It doesn't even mention the rapture. Not once. Not only does the Bible never mention the rapture, but the rapture is an idea that wasn't even on the church's radar until a guy named John Darby invented it. Okay, there you have it. Here's my biblical and very simple response to that. The word trinity, the exact word trinity,

You won't find that in Bible either. But every true Christian knows the reality of the Trinity is everywhere from Genesis 1, Revelation 22. It's all through the Bible. You're not going to find the exact word Trinity, but people know, anybody that knows and loves the Bible, you can see the idea of the Trinity all through scripture, the God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

Concerning The Times: Howard Green (22:16.174)
It's very troubling. The exact word rapture. True is not in the Bible either, but the Greek word harpazos is. It's a catching or violent snatching away. It's a taking up by force. Rapture. You'll find it in the first Thessalonians 4, 13 through 18. And because it's in there, it's in the Bible and many other examples of being raptured are in the Bible. We have to take it seriously. You think about Elijah.

You think about Enoch, just friends, this is a, this is an undeniable truth of scripture. It's not an invention by Darby. It's not an invention somebody in the quote unquote, early fathers decided to do with or do away with. This goes way back before them. We're talking about Paul here. We're talking about the Bible. We're talking about scripture in context. It's not an invention of man.

Concerning The Times: Howard Green (23:16.428)
It's one thing to deny with the Bible peaches and say, I just don't believe it. But it's another thing as a Christian. God help us quote unquote Christian leader or teacher. To take that and twist it or say it doesn't exist. That is spiritual deception. It's very disturbing to me.

Concerning The Times: Howard Green (23:40.728)
I want to take this a step further and talk about you have to understand the people that are talking like this to understand where they're coming from. So Zach Hunt and his book Unraptured, here's what he thinks about evangelism. I'll let you be the judge.

evangelism, we must keep our focus on loving them. And I assume as I read the entire book very carefully, people in the world, the unsaved, the losses we must keep our focus on loving them as an end to itself. Continues. We have to make sure that we don't objectify them as potential converts. But in the world, I read that and I couldn't believe my eyes.

Okay, he has end time theology. He has in time theology wrong. But to go further and talk about evangelism and loving them as a means to an end of itself and not view them as potential converts. What is he saying? Jesus said go out there and compel them, go out to the highways and hedges and compel people to come in. Friends, this is life and death, eternity, heaven and hell. It's not a scare tactic. It's just the reality of the world that we live in. It's a cursed world.

Go out and snatch them out of the fire. Go out and compel them. Reason with them in the scripture and compel them to come in. That's the love of Jesus. But he says, no, no, we have to focus on loving them as an end to itself. You know, it's like sort of opposite of, well, you he said, it's here, the hungry, which we should do by the way. But just, just go out there and love them. Let them know how much you love on them. Just the word indeed. And don't want one then they don't want to shake them up. We don't want to.

We don't want make them anxious. What are you talking about, man? Look, if I go to the doctor and I don't realize I have a tumor inside of me and they'd realize it and they send me over to get a, get a pet scan or a cat scan. And it comes back that I have a, that I have a tumor and it's cancerous and it needs to come out or I'm going to die. Can you picture the doctor looking at me and saying, well, no, Howard, uh,

Concerning The Times: Howard Green (25:52.75)
We understand that, know, you have fear of doctors and hospitals. So we just want to tell you that, listen, everything we checked you out, know, some anomalies here and there, but everything's actually great. You're doing pretty good. And I just, I just care about you, brother. I just, I just love you. Why don't you go grab a treat out there in the snack area, the waiting room and, come on back in while we cook together and we'll talk about things. love on you and, we can just hug and say, kumbaya. No, man, a doctor, a caring doctor would say, Howard, listen, I don't want to alarm you, but the reality is we have to get this taken care of.

Today we're gonna we're gonna set your surgery tomorrow. It's your prep We're gonna make you get it done because we don't do this Howard you're gonna have you have very little time here This is this is this is this is you know stage three fourth like thing here

How reprehensible is it when a person says you shouldn't objectify them as a convert? Basically, you shouldn't try to out when the lost just love one man, my friend, the most loving thing you can do is warn people about the wrath coming. There's a, there's a verse in Ezekiel. I can't think of the exact verse right now, but you can go look it up later that basically I'm a paraphrase that said, you go out and warn people,

Repent and they don't repent the bloods on their hand the bloods on our hands. You've done your part But if you don't go out and warn people essentially to repent And they perish Yeah, they're in trouble, but the blood is on your hands What a terrible dereliction of duty if the the man of God Doesn't go out there and warn people about the wrath that comments and loving thing to do friends It sounds counterintuitive to a lot of people, but it's my loving thing you can do

But let's continue. It's eternally dangerous when a shepherd says, simply love on people and don't you dare view them as lost souls. It clearly and blatantly contradicts the great commission in Jesus. But it goes further because Zach Hunt goes on to say, here's what he says about salvation. I want you to listen to these words very carefully. It, revelation, was written to people like them, and in context in his book, To Be Fair,

Concerning The Times: Howard Green (28:04.75)
He was talking about impoverished families in Nicaragua, people in need of salvation. So Revelation was written to people like them, poor families in Nicaragua, people like them, people in need of salvation, not from eternity in hell, but from the hell of this life, the hell of poverty, oppression, and injustice.

Concerning The Times: Howard Green (28:31.918)
He goes on to say salvation is communal and so is the apocalypse. It's something that happens to and through all of us. We're friends. The Bible is replete with warnings about eternity and judgment and hell. Matter of fact, Jesus spoke much more about hell and the wrath that come than he ever did about heaven. But it continues. It's men like Hunt and Warren that are just fine with deceiving the lost. And just as bad,

Deceiving people inside of the church and saying don't worry about that Don't worry about that. Don't worry about end time prophecy. Don't worry about end time Bible prophecy. It's a distraction

Very dangerous. Very dangerous.

Concerning The Times: Howard Green (29:17.998)
These men are deceivers and they're being deceived. I'm sorry, second time it will be reflecting. Friends, it's a love thing to warn people.

Jesus warned about repenting salvation many times in Matthew 4 7. Peter warned about it and preach about it in Acts 2 38. And you know, the fact that the purpose driven life or lie and unraptured trash end time prophecy is telling because they contradict the very words of Jesus. Listen, they contradict the very words of Jesus, the prophets, the apostles. But don't take my word for it.

I want you to listen to Zach and his own words and see him on other side. I say that I love the Bible. I mean, I really, really love the Bible. I was scared to put anything on top of it, and I wouldn't dare ask any questions about it. It was the pure, unfiltered Word of God, divine, made incarnate in print and ink. It was perfect in every way. Now you may be shouting amen to that, and I know high school me certainly would be too, but...

I also know that I was wrong. What if I told you that the Bible isn't perfect and that God made it that way so that we would stop taking it all so literally and be able to take it more seriously? And what if I told you that that's not a new idea, that it's actually an ancient teaching of the early church, that the Bible shouldn't be taken so literally that we can't take it seriously enough to see the good news of the gospel?

that we can't get stuck on the surface level, stuck in literalism and dogma, and find ourselves unable to hear the good news that God wants us to hear. It's an unhealthy relationship to be in, and one that we desperately need to escape if we're gonna have a healthy relationship with the Bible. But if we're gonna do that,

Concerning The Times: Howard Green (31:24.174)
We first have to stop worshiping that book. We have to stop caring more about the damage that might happen to a book falling on the ground than we do the damage that we cause to our neighbors in the name of that book. We have turned that book into an idol that has to be defended at all cost and in the process turn anyone who disagrees with us into the enemies of God. Instead of being the source of life and hope and love, the Bible has become a weapon of death.

Okay.

As he first the Bible. No, we don't worship it. We don't polish it, but it is the word of God. Sharpened a two edged sword, dividing the bone and marrow, even the thoughts and the intentions of the heart. Friends, the Bible itself says the law of the Lord is perfect. The Bible says that heaven and earth will pass away, but my word. Listen, this is the word of God, but my word will endure forever. No mistakes. There's no emissions. There's no controversy.

There's no contradictions if you study scripture and you study it in context and you understand under the unction of the Holy Spirit, illuminating scripture.

to trash the word of God is beyond a pale. I just don't know what say. Jesus tells us to be alert, to stay awake, and be ready. In 1 Thessalonians 4, 13-18, Paul affirms, Paul, the apostle Paul, affirms the rapture and tells us to be informed and encouraged. In 2 Peter 3, 11, Peter tells us to live holy as we wait for the coming of the day of the Lord. What manner, what sort of people all you need.

Concerning The Times: Howard Green (33:32.47)
waiting and hastening the coming day of the Lord. Bible prophecy, end time Bible prophecy doesn't make us check out as they say, ghost on some mountain somewhere and just wait for Jesus to come take us out of here friends. Things are getting worse. Bible prophecy, end time prophecy, spurs us on to go out there and to win the lost, to go out there and yes, take care of the least of these. Feed them, clothe them, visit them in Jesus name and to fill the great mission.

But no, it's a distraction for you to defeat it. It's not a distraction.

Concerning The Times: Howard Green (34:08.526)
Friends, you're in good company. If you love end time Bible prophecy, you're in great company because regardless of what Rick Warren and Zach Hunt, Mark Driscoll, other people say, here's what Charles Spurgeon says about Bible prophecy. No truth ought to be proclaimed more frequently next to the first coming of our Lord than a second coming. Do you hear what he said? It's that important. But it continues. A.W. Tozer. It says this.

Contrary to people that say all Bible prophecy is meant to get us distracted. It's a scare tactic and it's sensational Listen what a W tozer said the point of Bible prophecy isn't to alarm us But to alert us to the circumstances Leading up to the Lord's return this alertness spurs us on to be ready and The Bible has a lot of things to say about being ready for his return and that's a W tozer and that book I believe is called preparing for Jesus return man that with an excellent read

Friends, there many watered down churches in America and the West. They have abandoned the faith. They've also abandoned talking about end time Bible prophecy, teaching it, indoctrinally sound teaching and making that a part of the teaching. It's just crazy how they could ignore that. These churches have become emerging, ecumenical, secret sensitive, purpose driven country clubs with programs and pep talks galore, but rarely any mention on God's holiness, sin, repentance.

becoming judgment or atonement, all the while ignoring the writing and scoffing at Bible prophecy, which accounts for nearly 25 % of scripture. Remember what Paul said to Timothy, all scripture is God breathed. And look, as we wrap up today, I'm not here to attack these men. I'm basically putting their words, using their words, telling you exactly what they said when it comes to Bible prophecy and time prophecy, the Bible, the rapture.

and how we should go evangelize or not evangelize. In fairness, I have heard Rick Warren talk about going out and evangelizing, but he takes end time Bible prophecy and calls it a distraction. Friends, it's not a distraction. So when a man can say that, I heard one great preacher say it like this, oftentimes if somebody's not agreeing to disagree, but if somebody's way off on their eschatology, oftentimes you're going to find out the way off on their theology.

And of course we know that and I'm going to play it and Rick Warren will get back on the other side. We now commit our new president and his wife, Michelle, and his daughters, Malia and Sasha, into your loving care.

I humbly ask this in the name of the one who changed my life. Yeshua, Jesus, Jesus, who taught us to pray. Our Father. So how can you pray at a State of Union address when millions upon millions, tens of millions of people are watching and you're praying in name of Jesus and then call him Isa, who is the false prophet of Islam? Friends, you're not going to go out there

and make friends with the world by calling Jesus by a different name than people who don't believe that God begot his son believe. It just makes no sense to me. Ecumenism is not going to get it. We're not here to make everyone like us. We're here to present the gospel plainly and clearly. And Rick Warren has too many irons and too many fires with his peace plan working along with Muslims to make the world a better place and blah, That is convoluted.

Ecumenical nonsense and what can happen part of that but in fairness, yeah, he has mentioned going out and evangelizing people so I gotta be fair and and when it comes to Mark Driscoll in fairness, I've seen a lot of his teaching and and I'm not going to go there and he's got a past and We don't even need to go there today. It's well documented I believe he does qualify teacher but having said that in fairness the clip that I played from Driscoll was roughly

I think 14 or 15 years ago, it was a while back, but to not refute that claim and not refute the claim about all that prophecy and ruminati and Jesus said he's the son of God. What he did say was that, I'm sorry, Jesus said he was the son of man. Of course he said he was the son of man. Many times you refer to him as something like that. just, just to go there and to have this bravado and this cavalier attitude about end time, pro-opsy and all the people that are into it are sort of scared and paranoid. That just, anyway, I'll let you make the decision there, but the

Why I'm trying to make it this entire teaching and podcast and video is this Be very be aware of people that'll say I'm gonna talk about that in time Bible prophecies device extraction. We don't need that. It's not good doctrine. Let's just focus on this It's wrong Just as wrong as the people who have one singular focus and in high Bible prophecy the boy they got the charts and they know this and they believe that on a demon behind every corner and

And plush, while this and I've got this all figured out. Here's my chart, and the people that focus on that specifically, you never hear them talk about evangelism, about discipleship, about going out there to the least of these. Just like one singular focus to both wrong.

But the people who take end-time prophecy and time Bible prophecy and malign it and contradict it are dangerous people with dangerous teaching, false doctrine, and friends. should be marked and avoided. So again, another controversial topic today, but one I thought was very important, especially as we get closer to the second coming of our Lord and the rapture. So before we go, if you happen on the podcast and the video.

and you're not a Christian, your head's probably spinning now, saying, what in the world? But I do want to tell you friends, this is all rooted and grounded in the word of God, in the Bible. And if you happen upon a podcast today, I do have to tell you this, that Jesus loves you with everlasting love. But dear friend, he is also coming as the judge of the world as well. He's coming back as savior and he's coming back as judge. And if you haven't come to the end of yourself,

The Bible talks about repentance. If you haven't come to the end of yourself and repented and been born again, you haven't come to saving faith in Jesus; you're in trouble because, yes, he is coming back soon. And yes, he is going to judge the wicked friends. The Bible says there's no one righteous. No, not one. We've all fallen short of the glory of God. If you don't know Jesus as your savior, if you can't think back to a time that you've come to repentance and been born again and made him your Lord, and then follow him.

With fruit in your life showing that you followed Him, I would beg and plead with you today to come to Jesus today. You know exactly what that means? I spell it out very succinctly. You can go to my website. That's www.concernintotimes.com. Then there's a tab on the top that says, you saved? Click on that, and I explain the gospel very clearly and very succinctly. And it's my prayer and my deepest desire that you would come

the saving faith in Jesus friend. loves you like no one else is going to love you. promised to never leave you and forsake you, but you have to take him at his word. You've got to receive him by faith. Romans 10, nine, nine and 10. So if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God did raise him from the dead. The Bible says that you'll be saved. And that's my prayer for you today, friend, that that'll happen for you. But you have to

You have to come to Jesus. have to, you have to come to him and take him at his word and make him your Lord. Not enough just to believe. Even the demons believe in terms. It's not a Disney movie. Just follow your heart. You've got to believe. No, you actually, actually have to come to a point every time. So I pray that you do that today. For everyone, I'm so glad that you joined us today. Remember, I'm going to read a scripture to you. Love is the total of everything that we do. And it's a motive for everything we do as Christians.

It's a loving thing to warn people. Philippians 1 9 says, I'm to paraphrase what Paul said. He said, it is my prayer that your love increase, that your love increases with knowledge, and all is sermon. So we need his love, and let's just love him, and ignore doctrine. No, it is all knowledge and all discernment. It's a loving thing to have that right to God bless your friends. Have a great week. Would you do me a favor?
